The theme for the 2021 campaign is Know Dementia, Know Alzheimer’s and it is all about the power of knowledge. During the campaign, we are shining a light on the warning signs of dementia and the importance of a timely diagnosis.

The World Alzheimers Day (21st September) will launch the World Alzheimer Report entitled the ‘Journey through the diagnosis of dementia’. The report raises some important and challenging questions for healthcare systems, governments, care managers and researchers, with a focus on testimonies of people living with a diagnosis on what and how the system can, and must, be improved. The launch online event will feature a global panel of experts to discuss the key findings and recommendations, as well as a Q&A session.
